The Monash Health Lung Function Laboratory offers a fully accredited testing service, meeting all PFT requirements for specialist physicians and general practitioners. It is also significantly invested in research and provides support for numerous research studies.

Lung function assessment plays an integral role in the diagnosis, treatment and management of respiratory disease. The Monash Health Lung Function Laboratory is a category 4 TSANZ accredited testing facility offering a wide range of basic and complex lung function tests.

The laboratory has recently established a research club and all respiratory scientists participate in at least one research project. This has resulted in a number of recent publications.
